• Acceptance of Order

  • All orders for custom-made garments are subject to acceptance by Designed by Katherine. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

  • Acceptance of your order is confirmed via payment of initial deposit, at which point a contract will be formed between you and Designed by Katherine.

  • By the invoice being presented to the client, the design and order have been approved by Designed by Katherine.

• Payment Terms

  • Upon acceptance of your order, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total purchase price is required to secure your order. This deposit must be paid in order to begin service.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion of the garment and before delivery. Payment can be made via Zelle (240.346.2077) or PayPal (https://paypal.me/katherinehuntridley?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US).3.3. By payment of the first deposit, the client has approved the design. All options must be confirmed by payment of the first deposit.

  • 3.4. Failure to pay the deposit within the specified time frame may result in the cancellation of your order.

  • All payments are non-refundable, except as outlined in our Return and Cancellation Policy.

• Pricing and Taxes

  • All prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and for which a deposit has been paid.

• Delivery

  • Estimated delivery times will be provided upon order acceptance. We strive to meet these timelines but cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

  • Designed by Katherine is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, such as material shortages or shipping disruptions.

• Customization and Fittings

  • Customization details, including measurements, fabric choices, and design specifications, must be finalized and confirmed before order acceptance.

  • Clients need to provide their measurements using the Choozr app, provided by client as accurately as possible to ensure the design is processed. Designed by Katherine is not responsible for remakes due to inaccurate measurements.

  • Any changes requested after this period may incur additional charges and could impact delivery timelines.

• Returns and Cancellations

  • Due to the personalized nature of custom-made garments, returns are not accepted unless the garment is found to be defective or not as per the agreed-upon specifications.

  • Cancellations are not accepted after payment of deposits.

• Travel for Fittings

  • Designed by Katherine is willing to travel for fittings. This service will incur an additional cost that will be added to the final price of the garment.

  • Travel costs will be communicated and agreed upon before the fitting appointment.

• Liability

  • Designed by Katherine is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or purchase of our garments.

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the garment.

• Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maryland.

• Amendments

  • Designed by Katherine reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email and will apply to orders placed after the date of posting.
